Podcast Manager | Content Writer | Communications for Science and Innovation | Training Designer
Not many content producers can claim to have those strings to their bow.

They are disciplines that show a flair for factual storytelling, an understanding of digital audiences and an organised approach to project management.

Driven by a natural curiosity and a passion for interesting stories, I work with people who want to leave the world better place than they found it.
This desire has lead me through a varied media career, working for clients from across academia, broadcasting and science communication. I have designed and implemented communications strategies that have create awareness and insight, inspire and motivate, and engage audiences. Whether a consumer audience or a stakeholder, I know how to engage digital audiences, through words and audio, in my clients story and work.

I have worked for academic groups, SME's and accelerators to create science content that provides understanding and moves my clients closer to their goals. My work has included writing business-to-business PR content on new technologies, producing a podcast series on cutting-edge academic research and securing a rare interview with a NASA scientist about food technology in space. One of my strengths is finding a way to communicate complex information in a way that is easily understandable to the audience and gets to the heart of why it matters. I have applied my methodology to make topics like AI, emerging technologies, and mechanical engineering accessible and engaging for diverse audiences.

Aside from working in science communication I have experience of working in broadcasting, radio production and media training. Over the years, I have produced podcasts, articles, and training materials for the BBC and played a key role in training journalists in 27 BBC World Service languages. I have project-managed the creation of a custom training platform for an international broadcaster and I have worked as training designer creating online courses as well as developing face-to-face training.
